Job Description

We are now accepting applications for Winter Semester 2020 Internships (January to May 2020). Cover letter and resume required. Revolver Gallery is located in trendy and upbeat, West Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. We are looking for interns to work at the gallery, and occasionally from home.

Revolver Gallery exclusively sells the works of Andy Warhol and has the largest gallery-owned collection of the artists artwork in the world. Revolver conducts business with art collectors, art dealers, auction houses and galleries worldwide. Our interns gain first-hand experience learning about day-to-day operations of a gallery, the importance of digital media in a modern day business, and an in-depth understanding of marketing to different international territories and demographics. You will learn about the artist and his impact on society then and now.

An internship at Revolver will ensure you gain knowledge and hands-on experience in a gallery setting while learning about operations, marketing, customer service, and interpersonal collaborations with our staff. Some have said they interns to learn the gallery model and left with a PHD in the study of Andy Warhol, and his market.

We require the following: self-motivated, autonomous, efficient, organized, articulate, very computer and internet literate, punctual, and able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.

There will be 3 internships offered. One will have a focus on editorial/research work; digital marketing; project assistance.

Editorial/Research: As a specialized gallery, we are constantly doing research and writing articles which are published on our website, social media channels, and through other digital channels. You will be working with a staff member who will give you direction and assignments. Requirement: Excellent writing skills & the ability to do the necessary research to write academically advanced articles.

Digital Marketing: In recent times, the gallery model has transitioned from a personal face to face experience to a virtual and digital e-commerce environment that engages collectors & others through communication by email, marketing websites, and phone. Digital media has continued to grown in relevance to the gallery model in unprecedented proportions. This internship is fascinating as it gives the intern a glimpse of the importance of digital media for a modern day business. Requirement: Experience and knowledge navigating the space of digital media.

Project Assistant: The founder of the gallery spends most of his time working on sales, acquisitions, and projects. An internship with the gallery owner will require a great deal of leadership. You will gain insight on the art of the sale, customer relations and service, communication, acquisitions of artwork, and the implementation of ideas that become larger scale accomplishments.

All internships are not be limited to the above specializations. Interns will learn other aspects of the business by training, observation, communication with staff, and assistance on other unspecified tasks.
