The Full Stack Java Software Engineer works on projects where he/she will play an active role in developing software enhancements and new products. A vigilant developer, he/she will work on the planning, designing and coding of enhancements for our current offerings. He/she will also work with cross-functional teams to build software solutions for current issues or to incorporate advancements in technology. The Day-to-Day

Responsibilities:

* Full Stack Java Engineer who develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
* Ready, willing, and able to pick up new technologies and bring knowledge to the team (design, code, test, CI/CD, deploy, etc).
* Works cross-functionally to address issues and emerging needs in software systems.
* Works on projects from enhancements, new features and bug fixes to new and replacement products.
* Works on problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
* Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
* Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

* Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
* 2 years of Frontend development experience; Single Page Applications (ReactJS, Vue JS, JavaScript, CSS, HTML) and Responsive Design.
* 1 year of Backend development experience with Java (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate), RESTAPIs, Relational Databases (Postgres, MySQL, etc.).
* Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SOAP UI.
* Experience with various build Tools such as maven, gradle, git.
* Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CI/CD process is a plus.
